Founding Partner

Sarah Vance

J.D., Member of the Law Society of Ontario

Sarah founded Vance Immigration Law in 2013 after a decade practising at two of Toronto’s largest immigration firms, where she saw too many clients treated as case numbers. She built Vance on a simple promise: every applicant speaks directly to a lawyer, and every application is built from the ground up for that person’s profile. Sarah has personally guided more than 1,200 clients to permanent residence and is a frequent speaker on Express Entry strategy. She believes immigration law is, at its heart, about families and futures — not paperwork.

Priya Anand

J.D., Member of the Law Society of Ontario

Priya leads the firm’s family sponsorship practice, handling spousal, parent, and grandparent applications with a particular focus on cases that have stalled or been refused elsewhere. Clients describe her as calm, meticulous, and genuinely reassuring during what is often the most stressful period of their lives. She joined Vance in 2017 and works with clients in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.

Daniel Chen

J.D., Member of the Law Society of Ontario

Daniel handles the firm’s work permit, study permit, and US immigration files, advising both individual applicants and corporate clients hiring across the Canada–US border. With a background in employment law, he is the lawyer the team turns to for complex LMIA and TN matters. He joined Vance in 2019 and serves clients in English and Mandarin.
